The Grand Kellersaal Ballroom seats 400 guests with a dance floor (500+
without). It features a double bar, hardwood dance floor and raised
stage. Ornate pillars are located around the dance floor, and stained
glass windows line the west wall of the room. Newly carpeted in
January, 2005!

Parties, Business Conferences, or even Prom Night.
This room is perfect

Upper
Ballroom

 The Upper Ballroom will accomodate 200
guests with a dance floor. The room includes hardwood floors, beautiful
stained glass windows and an ornate lighted arch.
This
is a multifunctional room that can be used for both Ceremony
and Receptions. It is commonly used for Receptions, Recitals, and
Conferences, as well as informal gatherings.

Damenverein

The Damenverein Room is a charming
triple room that will accomodate 90 guests. Remodeled in December
of 2001, this room has beautiful carpet and ornate built-in cabinetry.
Three separated areas make perfect mingling, dining and buffet areas.
Perfect for Meetings and Rehearsal Dinners! A touch of class for any
event!

Willkie
Blue

With a maximum seating capacity of 60 guests, the Willkie Blue Room
is the perfect location for your Rehearsal Dinner or Private Dinner
Meeting. Decorative hutches housing historic pictures and
artifacts
line the wood paneled walls, while dimmed lights set the mood.

Max Kade

The
Max Kade is a charming double room that can accomodate up to 50 guests
with a separate mingling or buffet area. An ornate fireplace is
situated in the smaller room, with large windows lining the North wall.
This quaint room has
been used for many years for Family Reunions, Board
Meetings, Graduation Parties, and Rehearsal Dinners.

Veterans
Room
|

 Adjacent to the main
dining room, but tucked away from the hustle and
bustle of the restaurant, the Veterans Room can seat up to 40
people.
It is affectionately known as "The Fish Room", thanks to the generous
donation by Athenaeum Foundation Chairman Mr. Lou Hensley of the prized
family catches hanging on the wall. This room boasts
beautiful stained glass windows and ornate wainscoting. The perfect
place for Meetings and Family Gatherings!

Vonnegut Room

|
One of our most quaint rooms, the
Vonnegut Room is accessible through
our main dining room. The room is named for Bernard Vonnegut,
one of the building architects and grandfather of author Kurt Vonnegut,
whose bust decorates the back wall of the room. The room boasts an
ornate fireplace, stained glass windows and beautiful wainscotting.
This room can seat up to 24 people, and is perfect for Business
Meetings and Social Gatherings.

Biergarten

Located behind the building is a beautiful outdoor Biergarten, perfect
for summer events. The Biergarten will seat 500 people and is best used
for Informal or Social Gatherings. The Biergarten includes 2 bar
"huts", 2 dance areas, and a large bandshell, perfect for live
entertainment.
Due to the Rathskeller's live entertainment, the Biergarten is only
available for event rental on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

in the Biergarten.

does Off-Site catering, and can make location
